Calvia was born and raised in contact with the sea. 54 km of coastline of great natural value, with 36 beaches and an average water temperature in summer 25º C to enjoy the sea. Bathing bays such as El Mago or Portals Vells, ample beaches with fine sand in Palmanova or Magaluf, coves with crystal clear water in Illetes, beaches in Santa Ponça with natural shade from pine trees or Peguera, where you will be able to practice watersports.
Calvià is the only municipality among the Balearic Islands to have been awarded the 'Q' for Quality for its beaches (Palmanova, Peguera and Santa Ponça) and is among the municipalities having the most blue flags in Spain, which stand for quality and services. Beaches that have also been adapted to swimmers with disabilities, such as those in Palmanova and Magaluf.
